The hotel was great then we discovered that our room was not in the actual hotel but in a separate building behind the hotel. Make sure your room is in the actual hotel as it is beautiful

Doors Slam…Very Loud

It was such a loud hotel due to all of the doors slamming closed. Housekeeping was also extremely loud with going in and out of the rooms over and over again. Restaurant was fantastic.

Except for the location there was basically nothing good about this hotel. The “workers” had no personality or the basic understanding of what it means to work in hospitality industry. Examples? Here are few: wake up call came 15 minutes late; we asked for more towels - they never brought them, and my husband ended up going to the front desk to collect them; the phone in our room wasn’t working. And their restaurant and bar? Don’t expect your drink for 15 minutes after you order it. And don’t be surprised if your appetizers come AFTER your main course.

We've stayed at this property before and truly loved it. This stay was slightly less magical, due to small details not bring as attended to as well this time. For example, we were in the library and not notified when our room was ready, the lights weren't working in our room when we arrived, and some of the amenities were almost empty. We love this location and property and plan to return again. Hopefully with a little not attention to detail, the property will return to it's former glory.

Nice room, good toiletries, bed wasn’t comfy- both of us said it was uncomfortable. It was extremely hot whilst we stayed & yes aircon in room but the heated towel rail was on and bathroom was very uncomfortable to be in for a shower no switch to turn off
