Other guests have mentioned that the room looks much better than the outside area. I agree. But the beds, pillows, towels, & general room condition was great! Staff person upon checking in was very friendly & efficient, as well as the staff person at breakfast, who was also very nice & personable.

Clean room, friendly staff and decent continental style breakfast were great, however the bed was terrible. Staff was attentive and accommodated our requests for accessibility due to my mobility issues which was appreciated, and made great recommendations for dining and driving routes.

Nice Surprise in Winnemucca
Winnemucca is not a destination spot - it's a place you stay to break up a longer trip. This was our first stay at the Holiday Motel based on other travelers' reviews. We will stay here again! Although it was located on the main street , it was surprisingly quiet, clean, and well appointed. Plus, they allow dogs for a modest $15 fee. We didn't use the pool but it also looked inviting. We usually stay away from continental breakfast offerings, but this, too, was quite well done with a focus on individually wrapped items. I should also say this was about the fourth time we've stayed night in town. Holiday Motel was by far the best we've found.

This property was a wonderful place to spend the night after a long day of driving. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the staff was charming. Great options for breakfast in the morning as well. If you’re passing through Winnemucca or planning a stay, do yourself a favor and book a stay

We arrived after 3 PM to check in and we were told we could not check in for 20 more minutes. The rooms were being sprayed and they needed 20 more minutes for the spray to dry. When asked what they were spraying for we were told "I don't know". We decided not to stay and drove the rest of the way home. we weren't willing to risk flees, bed bugs or whatever other infestation they were dealing with.
