This place is in need of a face lift. The lights in our room didn't work, only 1 lamp was functioning. We went down to the Pool with our kids & there were absolutely no towels, hot tub was out of service. Water temp was very nice though in the main pool. Slide was fun, kids enjoyed that. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly but this place is just, old and is showing its age. Rooms are really outdated & the hallways consistently smelled like cannabis. Also, the curtains were so annoying, they didn't close completely, so there was always a small gap. Lights would shine through during the night from the parking lot.

Compliments - - your check-in staff was very friendly - your server in the Aaltos in the morning was very friendly - the design of the family suite was good for us with small children. More hotels should have this option. Needs Improvement - need an update on soundproofing between rooms, I could hear people having regular volume conversations in the middle of the night across the hall. I checked the hallway, and it was other guests in their own rooms with the door closed. I had to wear my ear plugs all night. - need staff to keep an eye on hallway activity after 11pm, too many people running around making a raucus late at night - It took 30 minutes to get our food from when we ordered it and I have no idea how long the food sat in their containers because the containers and the fries were sweaty and tough when we got it. - It took a really really long time for hot water to come in the shower. - your pillows were really really lumpy.

It was OK. When we opened the door to our room, it smelt very strongly of cheap air freshener. The room was not super clean. My children found beer cans along with an unopened beer under their bed, which was kind of concerning. There were also crumbs under the blankets of their beds. Which makes me think that the beds were made, but not changed. We also found garbage under the dresser while we were looking for one of our phone chargers (ketchup packets and Kleenex). The king bed was comfortable. At night, our neighbours were extremely loud, which I know is not the hotels fault, but it still contributed to a very broken sleep. It was as if there were dozens of people going in and out of the room constantly slamming the door (The walls shook every time) until about 4 AM. I actually thought at some point that maybe we were beside a service door for the staff because of the high volume of doors opening and closing. The pool area was clean and the slide was a lot of fun. So we did enjoy that. The staff was decent. we’ve stayed at much cleaner places that included free breakfast so I don’t think we would come back here and I don’t recommend it unless you’re pretty desperate.

We had two days of cold showers. Apparently the water heater was broken. We also had problems with the cards to enter the building on the side of the property as well as the pool. The Tavern Restaurant was horrible service.

Clean, nice decor needs updated in comfort areas.
Check in was fast, service was friendly. Room was clean and creatively decorated. Jacuzzi was nice and good size. Bed however was too hard and I had a bad sleep and back hurt the following morning so they definitely should upgrade to better softer mattress. Also we had to wear earplugs to sleep as we could hear doors closing all night long and really anything in hall we could hear. Tv was hardly watchable as it was so outdated. We ended up watching tv on our phones.

We really liked the pool, waterslide, and hotub which was clean and in good condition. The dining options were great also. They are really due for some new carpet in the public spaces which was very dirty and would dramatically improve the spaces. Other than that it was a good place to stay.
