I got charged gor the room i couldnt change my reservation date. Basically paid forna room and wasnt even in the city or stayed there. Was ripped off money and couldn't refund or chabgenthe date.

Here’s a natural and fluent version of your hotel review: ⸻ Unsafe and Unsettling Experience – Not Family-Friendly We stayed at this hotel for two nights with our kids before heading back home, and unfortunately, it was a very stressful experience. The environment did not feel safe or secure at all. Throughout the night until around 5 a.m. people were knocking on doors and causing a lot of noise. My kids were terrified, and none of us could sleep. I contacted hotel security and even mentioned I would call the police, but nothing changed. No real action was taken, and we were left feeling completely unsupported. I would not recommend this hotel, especially for families with children.

Reviews versus reality warning

Warning about the reviews we read prior to booking. All the great reviews do not reflect reality. Start with the good. Friendly staff. Good security. Now the reality. First room had broken door security latch. Hallway area, rugs, walls etc were poor condition. Smoke smelling room. Loud bathroom fan that does not turn off. Overall tired building. The price is high compared with other properties.

The hallway was very dirty when we arrived with lots of stains on the carpet. We paid a lot more than usual and the hotel was very noisy late into the night. We didn’t sleep well the first night. The second night was a bit better. We will avoid Winnipeg until the evacuees are home safe.
