Overall the hotel and room were very nice, it smelled a little when we got to the room but we were so tired we just went to sleep. Parking is almost impossible, we got a spot early and in order to keep it we ended up using Uber for the rest of the evening. The room had a mini bar and snacks for sale, which we never use but it had a nespresso coffee maker which we absolutely loved. I feel like we would stay here again.

Stayed at the hotel for a night and the hotel was nice and clean and staff was friendly but very limited parking so I had to park in a paid parking lot down the road and my vehicle was broken into! Smashed the back window and stole some of our stuff!

Very intimate European style hotel perfectly located along the river in Winnipeg's historic Exchange District! Great walkable neighborhood with an abundance of great restaurants / theatre / patios!

The hotel is excellent! My only complaint is that the wifi did not work, which was a significant issue since I was on a work trip and needed internet in the hotel room.

Room and potential for river view are really good but if you can’t find parking, then what? The parking lot is absolutely tiny and cannot support 1/4 of the hotel guests (on Google earth I count 23 parking stalls). On multiple occasions we had no parking and were told to park on the street or in the loading area in front of hotel. Last time, on our anniversary, we got back to the hotel and ended up waiting 5 minutes to be told to park on the street or loading area. We then drove around for 20 minutes because there was nothing available except for a space over a block away, down some sketchy side street …. No thanks. We went back to check one more time and luckily we were just barely able to squeeze into a spot in the loading area. It’s a first world problem I guess but it seriously shouldn’t be happening when you’re paying hundreds for a room and parking fees. If you wanna gamble going out and coming back after dinner / at night and then try to find a spot, it’s a great place. Otherwise, go to the Hyatt House South on Sterling Lyon (next to rec room). Oh and if you do stay at the Mere, a local breakfast option is the Inn at the Forks. Food and atmosphere are excellent! So yeah. Don’t really recommend. Highly likely we won’t be returning.

Very nice property and in nice condition, located along the river. They have free bikes so you can travel around the city easily. We went to a minor league baseball game which was just down the street. We stayed an extra night because we liked it so much. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

The hotel is clean and modern. Staff is excellent, very helpful and attentive. Rooms are clean and comfortable. I did think that $22/day for parking (not guaranteed, or secure) is overpriced and inconsiderate for the guest, as parking around the hotel is at a premium. I had minor issues connecting to the wi-fi. The area around the hotel does have some homeless, but does not feel unsafe. Very accessible(walking) to many restaurants and over to the the forks. Cibo, is very good. Food is excellent. Lively and energetic spot. Very enjoyable.

Solid boutique hotel stay in great location

Great location, next to river, parks, and walkable downtown districts. Modern, comfortable room. Not much by way of amenities or services, but great for a self sufficient traveler.

Beat value and location for area. Drove by other upscale hotels on Main street that did not come across as safe compared to Mere- the waterfront doea bring a variety of people to area, but this was quieter.
