Will stay again

We stay at the Sandman in Winnipeg a few times each year because it is convenient to businesses we visit. It is always clean. Staff is very helpful and having the Dennys restaurant open 24 hours is extremely convenient. We arrived on June 1, Sunday, which was extremely hot and it took a long time for the room to cool to a comfortable temperature. It was 23 C inside when we arrived and the temp outside was 33 C. The room air conditioner really struggled to catch up but by Monday morning it was fine. I like the door knob instruction tag which told staff what I wanted done. It’s nice to know that the room is only serviced as much as I want. All in all, this is a place i will stay in again.

The pool was really hard to find and couldn’t find the gym. Then when I did find the pool I couldn’t get in with my key card even though it was still working and let me into my room just fine. Also my room was covered with patch holes (in the middle of repairs) and the toilet handle was sensitive to sticking. The carpet was also sticky when walking bare foot.
