This was a cool place! An easy stay for all the hikes in the area, and it was pet friendly to boot! Would stay again!

Very old school, but in a good way. Lots of cedar, big wooden beams overhead. The bath could have used some updating and it was kinda dark in there with all that wood on the walls and ceiling. But I probably will stay there again.

Pleasant Overnight
Arrived late so the office was closed. After hours checkin process was clear and worked flawlessly. Room was spotless. No frills but this was an overnight stay on a longer trip. I was very happy with the accommodations. I would stay again, longer if visiting the area. Very pleasant front desk person when i was leaving this morning.

Nice rustic cabins, but older and quite small. The Kitchen/bathroom set up was cramped. When I chose cabin with more beds I didn’t notice there was no couch or chairs to sit on other than wood chairs at eating table. No instructions or thermostat for the baseboard heaters. One obvious knob did run 2 of them. But knob in bedroom was flush with baseboard and didn’t see it. Subsequently I was cold all night as only light blankets were provided and no extras. The cabins aren’t insulated and you can see air between door and door jamb so a lot of cold air streaming in. Located in a good area with a great pizza place you can walk to. But would probably not stay here again.

I was happy to have a coffee maker in my room. It was also very convenient to walk to grocery store. My room was very comfortable and beautiful view of the river. Very rustic and an older motel but adds to the charm of Winthrop. Will stay again.

Just an odd setup. No one at the office, you have to call to get a person, but she did come quickly. The parking was a little cramped and the property is a little dated.

The place is cute and clean. The people were very nice. My main complaint is that the bed sunk quite a bit in the middle. They could also add small refrigerators to the rooms.
