Unfortunate Mess

I have stayed here many times and has always been VG. This time not so much. The elevator was broken and of course my room was on the 3rd floor. I have medical issues and fought the stairs.When I room returned yesteday evening my room keys didn't work because the woman who checked me in only coded the keys for one night not two. I went down to the desk but no one there. Sign said to call a number. I called it 6 times and let it ring through 6 times until it disconnected me. A woman showed up like 10-15 minutes time to get me new keys. Then it was another struggle with the stairs. I go to Baraboo several times a year on business. I may look for another place to stay next trip

Overall not a bad place to stay. Sink did not want to drain, shower had fluctuations with temperature. Breakfast was good, did run out of juice the last day.

The hotel cleanliness could be improved. Found several hairs in our "clean sheets."The pool had high chlorine levels which caused some itchiness for our kids. Breakfast was fine. Overall, this place could use some TLC.
