A comfortable but dated apartment hotel. Very good beds; poorly equipped kitchen and a noisy fridge. Lovely staff; good communication. Overall, the property can do with an update and improvement in amenities.

The lower level garage concrete floor was very dirty with much spilt liquids. Needs a good power hose. I would also get rid of the straw placemats as they were very dirty and impossible to clean. Replace with types you can wipe. Otherwise the room was clean but the lounge room could do with a bit more art on the walls.

The rooms needed updating. The shower position adjustments were seized, there was dust on power sockets in the bathroom and dust on the pipe beside the washing machine. The place needed refreshing.

My stay at the mantra was disappointing and disgusting say least, the room was extremely dirty. There was blood stains and other stains of God knows what on the doona. There was dirt and debris around the unit. The floors in the bathroom were sticky and there were cobwebs on the windows. We had nothing but troubles with the entrance gate into the parking lot often it would not work and if it didn’t, we’d have to wait many minutes or walk up to request the front desk open it. The bed was unbearably uncomfortable and due to these factors we cut our stay short and drove home 3 1/2 hours at 11pm because we could bare spending another night there. whilst the staff were lovely, this does not equate for the distressing negative we incurred.

There is a terrible stench as you get out of the lift on level 3 which gets worse as you enter the room. It smells very much like wet carpet. Or perhaps it’s very old and disgusting carpet. The room is simply awful. Bland and empty - makes me think it’s what a jail cell would look like. Cheap rug, cheap dirty table. Nothing nice about it at all. Perhaps a nice standing lamp in the empty space could help slightly. Was kept awake at night by the train noise. Would unfortunately never come back.

Coffee table was Filthy Dirty Bedding had Lipstick & what looked like Semen Stains on them. Television Remote Control did not work TV was dirty Bathroom was also dirty Old tobacco smell in the room I have stayed in quite a few Mantra Hotels and by far this was the worse stay. Shame on your Cleaning Staff
