It was an interesting experience. Check in person was great. Was a bit confusing seeing a cat running loose in the hotel. Owner of the cat was a nice lady wearing an ankle bracelet. Walk to the room was a corridor that had a smell that i have yet to pinpoint. Pretty sure it is stuck into my clothing and may never come out. Room was in rough shape with broken items. I walked outside to have a smoke and met a couple of homeless people living at the hotel. After speaking with them it sounded like a high number of guests were longterm homelessness people. Every person i ran into was really pleasant. Just not sure i would want to bring a family to this place.

Sofa bed was never provided with extra sheets. Water in bathtub slow to drain, bed made guest itch, breakfast to go on low budget, it was only fruit bar and cupcake.

Pictures online looked great. However, upon arriving there was a lot of trash in the back parking lot, not to mention an old mattress tossed to the side. Stains on the couch in our room. Last straw was the moaning of a man in the hallway at about 10:15 that night.

Super nice staff but below average facility

The staff were very nice but the hotel is very run down. We had two rooms and one had mosquitoes in it, a slight odor, and no remote control for the TV. The other room also had a slight odor, the iron didn’t work, one of the drawers in the kitchen was broken and there were brown spots on the bathroom ceiling. It seemed clean with not roaches or those types of bugs. The grab-and-go breakfast ran out of oatmeal packets one the first morning and was not replenished during our stay. There were also a lot of people loitering around .

We arrived around midnight, and the front desk informed us that the keycard system wasn’t working, so she would have to open the room for us using the master key. However, the room she attempted to open was already occupied, which caused some confusion. The front desk seemed unsure about which room to assign us. We were eventually given a room, but since we were four people—two of whom were supposed to sleep on the pull-out sofa bed—there were no extra pillows or blankets provided. To make matters worse, the room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke.

Cancelled reservation without notice

Arrived a bit after 9:00pm to discover the hotel had cancelled our reservation because they were completely booked. No email, no text or call. We had been on the road for some time and this was not a welcomed development. The desk staff was kind and courteous and made several calls for arrangements for rooms at another location not far. That location was gracious and charged us the same amount of our original booking through Hotels.com, but now we have to sort out a refund for the original charge when we booked. The new location was not real clean and darkly lit hallways. Many of the lights in the room buzzed. Smelled like turpentine. We made due and were glad to have a place to sleep, but wont be using this location again.
