The breakfast was supposed to be open at 6:30 am. Went down at 7:00 am and it was not opened yet. When it was opened it was not stocked well. They were out of bread for toast, no forks, and not kept neat. The breakfast staff was not friendly. The shower had no pressure. The bed cover had minor stains. The room was big, which was nice, but the beds weren't very comfortable. Check in staff was friendly, but check out staff not so much. I would not choose to say here again. There are several other motels near this one. I would choose one of them.

We left and didn’t stay at 11:30 at night. Mold and mildew in the shower. Beds looked like they had been thrown together not made, the carpet had stains all over it (black) and we saw two bugs as soon as we walked in the room. Left immediately

I booked through Expedia and didn’t pay extra to cancel. The hurricane hit and all major interstates are gone. Neighboring areas were asking people to stay away, no electricity or water or roads. I didn’t want to cancel, I wanted to reschedule for next year when things are better for the area. The other hotel I scheduled for earlier in the week had no problem. This hotel would not respond to my emails nor did they answer to Expedias emails or phone calls they made daily for a week. Inconsiderate greed

We were traveling to Myrtle Beach and were planning to stay at this hotel on the return trip home to Ohio. I paid approximately $156 (?) with taxes and fees. The return stay was going to be twice that amount! Why? We stayed Sunday night, and wanted to stay again Saturday of the next week. Obviously, we did not - due to the pricing. In addition, we wore our flip flops in the shower, because the shower looked dirty. We did not see this until evening, so it was too late to have it cleaned. The lady that cleaned our floor (rooms) was very nice and helpful with more towels, etc.

Waking up to a mountain view...
Arrived 3 hours later than planned. No problem. Was greeted with a pleasant smile though it was just past midnight. The room was comfortable though we had to turn off the air. Everything was so clean and tidy that going straight to bed without having to clean first was wonderful. 12 noon check out was a double plus. Will definitely book here again!

The truth about country and suites
stay the stay, there was absolutely horrible. The clerk and administrative assistance showed nothing but unprofessionalism and quite frankly rudeness. It seemed as though they were on some type of drugs or alcohol the whole time. My room after three days was never cleaned. I had to ask for towels and washcloths, and the service there was just horrible. Would not recommend this motel to anyone else and would warn them not to go there.

Nice little property. Great friendly staff. Beware if you have Verizon there is no service in Wytheville so we had to call hotel for directions from highway! Once at hotel, free WiFi. Also comfortable beds, clean rooms, and good breakfast.
