I’ve paid $123.49 for this stay and I feel like a fool. Lamp base beside the bed you could write on dust. Bathroom faucet was sprinkling water in different directions. There’s a crack on the bathroom wall, very poor condition. The bathroom exhaust needs replacement, extremely dirty and paddle is broken. Even though breakfast was included, took my family to Denny’s because the options offered were poor. This property by far doesn’t worth $123.49, booked because of reviews but didn’t worth it for me. Same amount could have stayed on other options in Whytheville, that’s definitely what I’m gonna do next time.

Good staff. Cockroaches in the room!

Ok. The first room we were put in had a very musty, mildew smell and had cockroaches. We killed 6 before leaving the room and turning in our key to go to a different hotel. The front desk lady was very sorry and assured us that there would be no roaches in the building she moved us to and being as it was late we agreed to try. She was correct and the suite she put us in was clean and bug free. The breakfast was not great. The biscuit was so hard you couldn’t eat it. But they have a pancake maker and the pancakes were pretty good. We will not stay here again due to the conditions but the staff was nice.

The price was right. Breakfast was good. This is an aging property, and I wasn’t convinced that the sliding glass doors were safe, but the bathroom was very clean, the staff members were friendly, and the calico cat sitting outside the lobby was a lovely surprise.

Really friendly lady at the front desk when we checked in (not so friendly gentleman at checkout). Breakfast was good (very carb heavy, not a lot of protein options). Bed was very comfy and room was fairly clean. We did find a waterbug (NOT a cockroach like other reviews say). Overall great for a short stay, probably not much longer.

Comfortable and friendly

We had a wonderful comfortable night. Beds weee very comfortable and had towels and comfort quiet room. The signing up to a hotspot system to watch tv was not my thing. So we didn’t. The breakfast was good. Very simple hot menu Clean and very friendly atmosphere. Thank you!

After paying for the room on Orbitz when we arrived we were told " we do not rent to locals" we live 100 miles away. When we said we paid she said She didn't care" . First time anything has happened us with an Orbitz reservation! AVOID
