We were very pleased with the Barcelo Maya Palas. Our room was clean, the service was excellent, and the staff was very friendly. I would have liked to have had more information about all the hotel services and the spa upon check-in.

This is my fourth stay at the Barcelo resort. The facility is beautiful and very comfortable. I'll definitely be coming back, thanks to their excellent service and great atmosphere! We were served every day by Helinda, Ismail, Belisario at Coco bar who were charming and very good professionals, making cocktails according to our preferences. The staff is friendly and the food is excellent. Book dinners in specialty restaurants very easy, We enjoyed the food in Mare Nostrum as well as in Tokio restaurant. Very comfortable and beautiful rooms well cleaned and restocked daily. I am of the opinion that enabling check in online would speed up the check in process, in my opinion the process is a bit slow upon arrival. And another small complaint that the beds in the rooms are for replacement.

I went to this Resort with my 3 kids 7,9,11 and my elderly father. Stayed in a Hacienda Room, it was enough space. Only thing that can be better is the buffet, food was just okay. The other dining options better food. Overall, fantastic in all areas, staff are friendly, passionate, the place felt safe, clean and many options for kids throughout.
