A great location but …
So bloody noisy! We couldn’t leave the door open to let fresh air in because we were right on the only road into & out of town; the bright street lights weren’t blocked out by the curtains because they didn’t go to the end of the windows; the fridge dropped water all day/night (despite it being on the coldest setting); it was difficult to operate the ceiling fan because the switch was broken; & although there was a kettle/toaster/microwave/bar fridge - you had to unplug the various appliances to actually use them because there was only 1 socket. We chose this motel because it was in a great location (close to the Bowling Club and the Clarence River); the TV was large & new; & the bed was comfortable - but we didn’t sleep very well at all.

Check-in staff were extremely friendly and even offered an upgrade due to availability. The bed was the most comfortable bed away from home that I've had for a while now. The property was clean, easy parking was available, and it's convenient for a short walk to the main restauarants, shops, and beaches in town.
