Very nice property on the lake. Notes though: 1. King suite that overlooks the lake is a small window that overlooks the roof then overlooks the road before you can get a view of the lake. It is NOT on the lake 2. The hotel is the ONLY place to eat. Make dinner reservations when you make your hotel reservation! Overall very nice

No wifi. No elevator. No air conditioning. No other dining options. Rooms are smaller than in pictures. Better to stay outside the park and just drive to your destination. Dining staff were very friendly but others are not.

Take a pass on Yellowstone Lake resort.

It was overpriced, dated, and lacked timely maintenance compared to the Mammoth Hotel. The age is showing on this hotel and cabins. For as much money Xanterra Management makes managing properties like the resorts in Yellowstone you’d think they’d have infused a large sum into the Yellowstone Lake resort. Much of what we encountered was over price mediocre meals and trips inside the park.

Gorgeous views, pleasant staff, relaxing vacay!

We stayed two nights. The front desk staff (Laura, Patricia & Mgr. Carol were outstanding! They helped us upgrade to a larger bed to ensure our 42 year marriage did not end on their grounds! 😜 The rest of the staff including the wait staff, concierge etc were also of highest caliber. We really enjoyed our stay at this historic hotel!

The place has no wifi (while having internet on old fashioned ethernet cables). The waiting list for the dinner is long and immediately puts you for very late dining The hotel is very old fashioned and really for senior people. Not modern infrastructure. Even not a fitness The curtains were damaged For the breakfast buffet, whilst almost half the room was empty we still had to wait for 15-30 minutes on the waiting list. Unacceptable Very poor hotel.

I thought , i will get cabin but got a small tidy room instead. Hotel staff told me that that’s all I get. Room and bathroom were very small. Toilet seat was warbling. Pillows were too small and not comfortable. No wifi. I would not recommend this place.

This is in a National Park and I was happy I could find a reservation. The options there are limited and wifi is non-existent or very slow, but I don't blame the Hotel
