The people working at the registration desk were very unlikeable. I never saw any of them smile or greet anyone. No welcome or hello when we entered or thank you for staying with us when we left. Very unprofessional desk crew.
Beautiful location and cozy atmosphere in the main lodge and cabins. Did not have wifi in the room so our kids ended up exploring the nature around the property, saw some wild life like fox, deers, and bears! We loved the screen-free stay but beware if that's an issue for you.
We were not impressed with the food, but it's hard to expect more considering the remote location. I would bring more of my own food next time.
The window in the bathroom did not stay closed. The bathroom door did not close properly. The shower had peeling paint.
I found multiple hairs on the bedding. For the price, it was much more rustic then advertised.
Lodge was very nice and convenient place to hang out at the end of the day, food at the restaurant was great but limited selection. BEAUTIFUL views and the cabin was super cute and comfortable. Reminded me of summer camp. Basketball court in lodge was posted to be for staff only which was a minor bummer for my teenage boys but overall a good place to stay and i would return.
We stayed in the cabins, so comfy, the lodge was fantastic, bar, dining, Breakfast, phenomenal view of Yellowstone lake from the front porch of the lodge!
The property is absolutely beautiful. The view from the front of the property looking over the lake is stunning in the evening. The large lodge where you check in is amazing with a fireplace and great store and restaurant. The cabins are pretty small and could use some updating, but are clean.
This was a cabin type property with limited amenities. Everything worked , plumbing and all. Rooms were kept clean but they should do a better job of refilling all the soap and lotion dispensers. For the price paid i don't think we got value.
P.S: there is NO internet in the rooms. So be warned if you need to stay connected. Some might say this is a good thing?
This is my 2nd time staying at these cabins. You park right in front of your cabin. It is so quiet and peaceful here. You can walk down to Yellowstone Lake and enjoy even more peace and quiet. My favorite so far of all of the places that I have stayed inside the park.
Our cabin was very close to the lakeside so we had a good view of the lake. It does get very cold and we went in August. But the bathroom is heated so that was nice. There were a lot of bugs outside and that was the only negative. We dined at the Yellowstone Hotel dining room and we enjoyed that.
