Amazing location! Close to the city centre and York is already a very walkable city. Close to railway station, close to the walls, close to York Minster. Our unit had a lot of space and it felt more like an Inn than a Bed & Breakfast. Breakfast was very good and we were impressed with the options available. Staff were friendly and if i was driving, there was plenty of parking.

Ideal location and friendly staff. Unfortunately couldn't get access to the EV charging point as another vehicle (non EV) was parked in the space for the nights I was there. Breakfast only served from 8am so couldn't make use of that. No good served of an evening despite advertising a 'restaurant & bar'. No shower gel or shampoo provided in the room. Not as advertised.

Perfect location for walking into the city or to the railway station (no more than 10-15mins). Stayed in the delux double bedroom in the annex. Confused as room didn’t match the images on their website. Duty manager informed and he agreed and apologised. For a delux room would have expected more luxuries, the only benefit seemed to be size of room and en-suite. Breakfast options ok, but as for advertising continental options, only saw yoghurt

The whole experience of coming to York and staying at the B and B from start to finish was excellent nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the food was vey good. It was good to have a vegan cooked breakfast on the menu for my friend as we always seem to struggle when we stay in places. Would certainly come back and stay if we go to York again..
