The best thing about this apartment was the washer/dryer. Nice to be able to do laundry. It is in need of serious updating. New sofa (we sank in all but one spot), new shower curtain (mold), a lamp in the kitchen as lighting is minimal, and a new mold/fungus free tea kettle. The garbage dumpsters from all apartments partially block access making it hard to park the car. Plus garbage is often strewn about. Minimum landscape/maintenance effort by front door. Unswept and weeds

Easy walk from the train station even dragging a big bag. We had a very nice room and it was the only place we stayed in England or Scotland that had a fridge (minibar) in room. Easy walk to historic area of City, pubs and beautiful gardens across the street. Helpful staff.

Lovely room
A beautiful room with a great bath and shower - always important! Comfy bed, lovely coffee machine, snacks… fan supplied as weather was hot. The view was of a building site which was a shame but didn’t really bother me, I was only there a night.

Location on the edge of York city center was an easy walk to all attractions. Convenient for both car (large city parking lot nearby) and rail (station just across the river). We had a large room with a very spacious bathroom, all done to satisfaction.
