Beautiful stay
From start to finish it was like home from home. It was a cold frosty weekend but the whole building was warm and cosy. Staff friendly Room beautiful - clean - everything you need. They even have a Cat called Teddy which made my stay. 5/10min walk into the center perfect for a york visit

Property was ideally placed for a short walk into town with good restaurants nearby. Very comfortable and unique decoration and furnishings. Friendly staff and amazing breakfasts. Would highly recommend

This place is fantastic! The rooms are beautiful, great location, paid onsite parking. Thi is an old home that has been maintained and converted into beautifully decorated rooms. We have stayed here twice and brought our parents here. Staff was very friendly, even the resident cat! Beds were comfortable, rooms were spotless. Price was great.

My partner and I love this hotel. We stay every moment we can. Big shout out to Cameron, who is an amazing member of staff - a real credit to the hotel. The rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished. The hotel had a great ambience, and Teddy (the cat) is a highlight.

As soon as you enter you know you’re in an authentic old home with beautiful rooms for dining and relaxing. The walls are full of quirky artwork. Our room was comfortable and had beautiful antique furniture. The bathroom was large and well equipped. The staff were all very attentive and helpful,particularly Cameron.
