Great hotel for decor and style with very nice rooms and comfortable bed. Would be 5 stars but for small service errors and no towels in room on arrival. Breakfast freshly made and great quality.

Service from the moment of arrival to the moment we left was outstanding. Easy walk into the city. Voucher for ‘Guy Fawkes’ was useful and we had a fantastic meal there. Couldn’t fault the place. Would love to come back.

From the moment you walk through the door you feel very welcomed the staff are amazing the breakfast is beautifully cooked and presented they have a little bar area which offers a wide range of drinks I can not find fault with anything and the resident cat is adorable and friendly will definitely recommend to friend's and family

Beautiful stay
From start to finish it was like home from home. It was a cold frosty weekend but the whole building was warm and cosy. Staff friendly Room beautiful - clean - everything you need. They even have a Cat called Teddy which made my stay. 5/10min walk into the center perfect for a york visit

This place is fantastic! The rooms are beautiful, great location, paid onsite parking. Thi is an old home that has been maintained and converted into beautifully decorated rooms. We have stayed here twice and brought our parents here. Staff was very friendly, even the resident cat! Beds were comfortable, rooms were spotless. Price was great.

My partner and I love this hotel. We stay every moment we can. Big shout out to Cameron, who is an amazing member of staff - a real credit to the hotel. The rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished. The hotel had a great ambience, and Teddy (the cat) is a highlight.
