Good value, Good food, Great service.

Visited for a three-day business trip to York. Lovely hotel 3 or so miles from York City Centre. Room was very clean, the bed very comfortable. The bathroom is a little dated but again, spotlessly clean. I had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant on all three days and whilst not the cheapest meals I have had in Hotel restaurants, the quality was very good. Service was excellent. After a run, I tried to purchase a bottle of water but the bar only had sparkling. The young lady behind the bar offered me a pint of tap water for which no charge was made. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again

Pleasant staff to greet you on arrival. Ample car parking and in a convenient location for the very close by Park and Ride into the city centre. Beds very comfortable and rooms very warm. Couldn’t open my windows for fresh air, but as I was only staying two nights I didn’t bother to ask. I would definitely stay again.

The room although comfy only had one radiator and, for the size of the room, wasn’t very warm. We did though have an extra fan heater which just about did the trick.
