Room was clean but well used. It was in the old manor side of the building with no lift which was an issue also our room was at the end of a labyrinth of corridors and fire doors. However this was off-set by the excellent breakfast and friendly staff.

Very tired room with some light fittings not working. A lot of work done to the front area of the hotel but rooms are in desperate need of work. Feels very basic and not worth the money on their current condition.

We have stayed before and found it to be excellent. Unfortunately, this time there was excrement on the duvet.The bathroom wasn't up to speck either. I'm sure this was a one off though and wouldn't stop us from returning. Plenty of choice for breakfast, but need to invest in better hash browns.

Nice hotel outside York

The main areas in the hotel are fairly modern, however, our room was out dated. The heating did not work and the shower was very temperamental. The staff definitely make this place. Everyone was so polite and friendly. Overall, we had a good stay and we would recommend this hotel to others as it is well priced.

Good hotel

Great staff who were friendly and accommodating. Generally the room and bathroom was clean. Some improvement could be made within the rooms. For instance upgrading general decor/condition of rooms. Temperature control would be useful. Our door was temperamental. Good location for park and ride use.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Our bedroom was roomy and our bed was very comfortable. Our room and bathroom were very clean. Public areas were comfortable. The only downside for us was that we had to eat in the bar as there was a conference and coach parties in the restaurant.
