New years stay 2024
We had a fantastic time in york the hotel was situated close to the centre. Very well organised and all staff were very helpful friendly and polite. The room over looked the carpark and was very clean and warm. Breakfast was served in the dining room which is a great set up and the full english breakfast was excellent.

Xmas market trip
Lovely hotel, welcoming and friendly staff. Handy car park which is free if you book direct with them. Very handy location only a short walk to the city walk.

Hotel staff and food was perfect the room was great been many times but the breakfast is first class Stopped in many hotels & last week in Harrogate but the Minster can’t be beaten 10/10

There's always a warm welcome at The Minster Hotel, the staff can't do enough for you. The breakfast was excellent as always and even being Coeliac didn't spoil my experience as they catered well for me. The room was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. There is secure parking on the premises, to the rear, which is great as you can leave your car there during your stay and it's only a very short walk to the centre of the city. We have stayed a number of times and will continue to stay in the future 😊

I have stayed at the minster Hotel several times, each occasion has been the same experience – excellent. The hotel has its own parking on site, staff are friendly helpful and well informed… And just a short stroll from the centre of York and the Minster. Excellent breakfast finish off the deal, definitely recommended!

The staff was really friendly and the room was lovely, the bed could have fit 4 grown adults in it and im on the chunky side, so plenty of space, lovely wolk in shower, and no need to worry if you've forgotten your, showe gel/shampoo/condition as they have bottle despensers full in the bath room waiting for you, the parking is gated with a code for safe secure parking up to 1pm even aftr check out so was able to leave the car while we went site seeing and then come back and drive back hom.

Very friendly homely hotel. Excellent breakfast and the staff were fantastic. Very handy to walk into York. Car parking bonus ! Bit dated but adds to the charm

In need of a makeover . Staff are lovely . Rooms tired , worn out and in some areas dirty . Need a deep clean . Charged for parking even though i searched hotels with free parking . Would not say £170 for a run down room particularly good value . TV remote so worn you could not see what buttons are what . Not sure we would stay again

Close to York Minster. Decent hotel.
The room was ok, the bed a bit hard for my disabled wife. We had room 5, on the first floor and we had a fridge but then my wife pointed out it was the bathroom. No heating whatsoever. Breakfast excellent. Car parking free unless you book via, for eg Hotels.com, £10.00 a night.

Lovely stay in York
Room was comfortable and decent size. Bathroom was clean and spacious. Breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked with plenty of choices. Location for town was a 5 min walk to the city wall and approx 10 minutes walk to The Shambles. Staff were friendly. The only minor drawback we thought was the hotel seemed a little tired but didn’t affect our lovely stay at The Minster Hotel.
