This property is in a beautiful, roomy, old building (perhaps, once a bank?) in downtown Youngstown. It is substantial with huge windows, large rooms, wide hallways. Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries are luxurious. Staff is helpful. One of the best and most fun restaurants in the city is on the first floor. Parking is a snap.

Overall a positive experience

The hotel itself met with our usual expectations. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean with good warm pressure from the shower. The magnifying mirror was a nice touch. On arriving I was greeted with a somber welcome by the registrant. She was not rude but certainly not welcoming. The restaurant food was ok and the waitress was nice but service was very slow at the start and the amplitude of noise was uncomfortable. I would suggest adding two bottles of water in the rooms so the patrons do not need to draw water out of the bathroom sinks.

Half way point of our trip. Nice quiet town. Great facility, but not much nearby on a Sunday that was open for dinner. Hotel restaurant was very good if Italian is your thing.

Nice place

Great place overall. Great location. Only issue was a bathroom light that kept going on with any movement, including during the night. There is no to way to turn it off the feature.
