Credit Card issue
I had made the reservations for two family members. I used my card to hold the reservation with the option to pay there with the intention of my family members paying on their card. When they arrived the desk gave them a hard time because the card they were using wasn't the same as the card that the reservations were held with. Then they required a cash deposit but themanager the next dsy was reluctant to return the deposit.

Limited parking & dark rooms
Stayed at this hotel several times before. The most frustrating thing we experienced this time was lack of parking. 2 of the 5 nights we returned after 10pm we had no where to park. And they were not weekend nights. Literally parked on front grass one night, the other we parked against side curb, with other cars limiting others ability to pass or pull out easily. First time had a first floor room and was not able to open the blinds because of people in smoking area outside window. The problem is there is limited lighting in rooms. Really Need an Overhead light in rooms or a wall light. Room was SO dark! Wasn't the best experience we've had here. Although hot breakfast was really good and staff are nice.

First room….shower was not clean….hair in the tub. Moved to different room. That room reeked of cigarette smoke. Moved to third room….that was better but old food still in the refrigerator. I’ve stayed here a few times in the past two years and noticing it’s going downhill.

Great service!
We arrived early, but Marcie at the front desk was able to check us in. Originally, we were put in a room right next to the elevator, but on my request she promptly moved us somewhere quieter. 5 stars for her friendliness and service! I would say the hotel would get 5 stars if breakfast were better. For those who are squeamish about these things, the hotel is right next to a cemetery! Spooky!
