Highly recommend this property

Loved staying here. The property was relatively remote so I could see the northern lights from here. Beautiful property, clean and well-cared for space, and breakfast was fresh and tasty.

Lovely guesthouse in the countryside. Horses and sheep nearby. Nicely decorated room with plenty of bathrooms nearby. Very friendly staff. Excellent restaurant for dinner and nice breakfast buffet. Our favorite stay in Iceland!

Pictures here need updating. Farm Stays since 1984; they've got it right. Rooms in the new building are small but efficient.......they reminded me of stables for size and shape: beds and showers great, no complaints. Lovely small bar and great food for evening meal. Warm and friendly staff.

Our family of 5 had a large and comfortable upstairs room at the guest house. It had a nice view of the countryside off of a small balcony. It slept 5 comfortably. The staff were pleasant and the breakfast was included and had a small variety of options that was a good size for the number of guests. The goats next door on the farm were very cute. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We had a lovely stay at the guesthouse starting with a very nice dinner at their restaurant. Our room was spacious with beds spread out in different areas. Our deck overlooked the goats and mountains. It is a beautiful place!

We had a relaxing and pleasant stay here. The rooms were comfortable and of decent size to place our luggage. I like the spacious and cosy sitting area with kitchenette. Breakfast was good and the breakfast area was nice. We took a little walk around the area and it is so peaceful. We would be happy to stay here a few days if visiting the area longer in future.

This was a great stay. This property was about 10 miles from the black sand beach and a few more miles from Vik. It is located at the base of a big mountain/glacier and is just about a mile off the main highway. The main building was very nice and the check-in process was quick and easy. The staff was very nice. Our room was for four people and had a private bathroom and shower. Most of the other rooms had shared bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The breakfast was buffet-style and was very good with a variety of sliced meats, cheeses, yogurt, cereal, breads, coffee, and tea. The property was very quiet and had 5 cute goats near the guest building.
