Front desk staff was really slow but got the job done.
The room itself is okay at best, very dark and kinda dusty. Water leaked from the bathroom sink, so the floor was always wet and we had to put a towel on the floor. During one of our nights there was no hot water, but on the other two nights it was fine.
The biggest problem, as commented by other guests, was that the soundproofing was non-existent. You can hear what was going on in other rooms (due to heating pipes I assume). Luckily for us, the noise stopped around 9pm, but it was uncomfortable hearing everything said in the other room, knowing that it was probably true the other way around as well.
The upside? It's close to the center. It's easy to walk to other places. But that's about it.
First they couldn't find my reservation so I've waited for a long while for them to find it.
The parking lot is three strees away and rooms were small but for the price no big deal.
Location was very convenient from everywhere. Besides what have been said Overall nice stayed.
Honestly everything was amazing the staff the buliding is close to many things walking distance but there was bed bugs on the sheets and that threw everything good about the place to the trash sorry I will never stay here again :(
This hotel is a wonderful value for the money. My room was clean, freshly painted with new bathroom fixtures. They have installed in-room safes, which is a tremendous convenience. The shower/sink water was consistently hot, and they provide 1.5 litres of bottled water a day. The towels were ragged along the edges, but very thick and absorbent . . . bring your own washcloth. The service was very good. The breakfast restaurant had Nescafe and bottled OJ (I never found fresh OJ anywhere in Zacatecas), but the eggs and chilaquiles were very tasty, at a moderate price. Short walk to the Cathedral, museums and other sights.I always felt very safe there.

Convenient
I stayed here during a trip in the summer. The neighborhood lacks many of the convenience stores (OXXO) which are found elsewhere. Also, traffic was very bad. I was a pedestrian, and crossing streets was a tricky thing, because of narrow streets and the crush of aggressive drivers. The location is close to the Plaza Bicentenario, a site for the folk dance festival I was attending. My room had no windows, and I felt uncomfortable. Staff were helpful, though. This is a convenient and reasonably-priced option for attending events in downtown Zacatecas.
