No problem with the hotel, very efficient, helpful and friendly. We have discovered mountain-top villages are entirely unsuitable for our aged bodies - but it was a wonderful location and far more splendid than its near neighbour Ronda, which was the purpose of our trip

a decent hotel with an outstanding location
overall a decent hotel. price is reasonable. location is outstanding. you are in a quiet street in the top of the village. no traffic, plenty restaurants just around. very nice atmosphere. you go there just for this feeling.
Nice hotel. Very good relation price quality. Situated in the middle of the town and at short distance of the castle. It have not elevator and there are rooms in the second floor. It will de tough to old people, like me.
Stopped over whilst visiting the "white villages". Staff were welcoming (be warned, no English spoken) and rooms were spacious but our bedroom, and most of the public areas were dark and felt unwelcoming.
Breakfast was more than adequate.
In it's heyday, you can imagine this was a lovely place to stay but it now looks and feels very tired and dated.
The hotel was great for our 3 night stay. It's right in the center of town with close by free parking. The breakfasts were wonderful. The accomodations were a bit dated but very comfortable and very clean.
This is a BEST location at V good value. Being February I had no trouble parking. I had left the passenger window open and the Guardian found me in the middle of the night to let me know 🤗

weekend in Zahara
The village of Zahara de las Sierras is picture-perfect. No wonder the country's tourist board uses photos of it to promote Andalucia & Spain! the hotel is very conveniently situated in the heart of the village which means all amenities are no more than 5 minutes walk away. Whilst not particularly luxurious, it is clean & well run and is a perfect base for the many activities in the area
This is a basic hotel with helpful staff. The room and bathroom were clean. The bed a little hard as was the pillow.
The breakfast is excellent.
We enjoyed this hotel as a base for hikes in the mountains.
