View of the matterhorn was a dream from the balcony! room was spacious the breakfast was amazing and the staff was wonderful to me! This will be my hotel for Zermatt!

The hotel staff was very friendly & accommodating. Excellent breakfast buffet & great location. Fantastic view of the Matterhorn from my room and balcony. I especially enjoyed the sound of the river, which was outside and below my room, and made for very soothing white noise while I slept. Only one thing-someone opened my room door while I was sleeping one of nights I was there, and was surprised to see someone in the room. Whoever it was immediately closed the door and I went right back to sleep. I mentioned this to the manager and he said it may have been because of a miscommunication with the cleaning staff. But anyway, that was a very minor incident and no harm was done, and overall I highly recommend this hotel.

Great property, friendly and efficient staff. Our rooms had balconies facing the Matterhorn. They had an open area with tables and chairs in the front… you can bring your own food and drinks while gazing at the Matterhorn. I would highly recommend this hotel.

That VIEW!
We loved our stay! We were in a Mountain view room and that view of the Matterhorn was OUTSTANDING! The hotel staff was very friendly & helpful, and the peach pie that they had just made was delicious! I cannot recommend this hotel enough! Stay here!!!

7/31-8/3, 2024. Pro: location, cleanness, friendly, complimentary breakfast. Con: no A/C. Great location in the middle of downtown, 0.3 miles (5 min walk) to train station, in the middle bt. the two main lifts, a few minute walk to Schwarzsee(?) lift, where cable carts go up to Glacier Paradise, or take green line bus (free and the bus stop is in front of the hotel) to the lift. The other lift (Gornergrat Railway) is across from the train station. The room and bathroom were clean and looked new ( the bathroom was shining). With window open, the room temperature was fine. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and healthy. The staff ( everyone of them) was very professional- friendly, helpful and patient. This hotel was impressive.

The staff at this hotel ent out of thier way to make us feel informed and comfortable, Our rooms had balconies facing the matterhorn and they were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great and there were some nice restaurants close by.

This property is legitimate walkable from the Zermatt Station. It has a nice view of the Matterhorn from the South side of the property, which unfortunately we booked the wrong room. Good thing at their restaurant during the breakfast, we always get to see that VIEW. What an amazing picturesque view. Highly recommended as it is one of the cheaper options during our stay, and considering we booked the night before our arrival at Zermatt. The receptionist in the afternoon shift is also good to tell us how to spend our time in Zermatt (looking for the black neck goats and the black head sheep). And we were also able to avail of the hotel partner discounts at Golden India restaurant for our 3-course meal for our anniversary dinner. What an experience!

What a great little hotel run by very nice and accommodating people. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome, the rooms are basic but clean, and several have excellent views of the Matterhorn. Nice little breakfast area and outdoor garden. Would recommend and return.

The breakfast was very good and featured a view of the Matterhorn. I liked the location. The staff gave me solid advice about a hike. The bathroom was modern and had a fantastic shower. The room certainly met my needs. The room had a double bed. The room was slightly smaller than average.

Great location. The best views of the Matterhorn specially at breakfast time. This hotel location is perfect super close to the Matterhorn express, Sunnega and gornergrat. Juan the receptionist was super nice. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Just a GREAT hotel. The breakfast views are amazing. One of the best in town, The breakfast food is nice nothing too fancy just your typical European breakfast. They have boiled eggs, yogourt, cheese and bread. They have coffee all day and also they sell wine in the lobby. Just a beautiful hotel location. My only negative is we stayed in the Economy room or the room where you share a bathroom. They warned us before we booked so I shouldn't complain. Although it was a great great price compared to what you have to pay for this location, the room smelled really bad (smoke and mold) and it is super tiny. But I guess you get what you pay for. We paid $170 per night vs $300 per night. Other than that this is a great hotel. Super safe and super great service.

We are a couple from US on a ski trip. We had a great stay at this hotel. The location is good for both skiing and shopping and the room was very clean. Everyone was very friendly and always trying to help. The breakfast is lovely with a great view of the Matterhorn. The only disappointment was the transportation. The staff is not informed enough to help coordinate the transport from the hotel to the train station that requires an additional transfer from the electric taxi to the regular taxi. I wish they would just include the taxi in the hotel price and provide a shuttle. Ski trips are hard due to the extra luggage (ski bags). Help coordinating transportation would enhance the experience. Overall our stay was great and I would recommend Parnass hotel to our friends. Thank you Parnass staff for being so nice and kind with us!
