The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming! Tiffany was especially helpful with booking trips and giving us valuable recommendations for parks and activities to enjoy. The hotel also offers airport transfers at a reasonable fee, which was very convenient. I wouldn’t describe this as a traditional 5-star hotel, but it has something even more special—a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The staff is incredibly helpful, the location is beautiful, and overall, we had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay!

The most wonderful hotel in the most stunning setting. It was like a postcard. On top of that, it has the nicest staff of anywhere I have ever stayed. They truly go above and beyond to make your stay the best it can possibly be. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay here again. It was a dream! Incredible breakfast too! AND they have a dog and cats on the premises, who are wonderfully taken care of.

Location is 6 mins walk from the middle gate of the Forrest Park entrance and about 20 mins DiDi ride to Walingyuen or Xibu Old Street. Staff super helpful. Gave us great suggestions on places to visit and also sold tickets to attractions. Breakfast buffet was fine..mix of Chinese and Western foods. You can also order bowls of noodles 🍜 which comes in spicy soup. We didn’t use the pool at all because of the weather. We went late September and we were ‘in the cloud’ most mornings on the 6 nights we stayed. We had one of the 2 bed suites with terrace and the rooms were large and clean. Came with a clothes washer and drying rack. We didn’t use the terrace at all because there was a fence around parts of it which you can’t see through and there were large bits of plastic (like bin lids) strewn around. There are tables outside the lobby facing the fields across the road which are good to sit at which we did use. There were restaurants and bars walking distance from the hotel. We ate at the one next door upstairs which was very good, and a nice little open air coffee, drinks bar called Pastoral Station which lit a Bon fire and had a singer every night. There is also a small convenience shop next to the hotel which opens til 10pm.

The room was well appointed and had a scenic view of the mountains. The shower had hot water and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, with all kinds of services available. The breakfast was tasty with a wide assortment of options. Good coffee machine with espresso. The area is quiet and secluded - I saw some beautiful birds in the nearby trees. I also tried food from their restaurant and it was cooked well.
