Overall a good value with friendly & helpful staff. Just needed a place to stay before flying out the next morning, and wanted to enjoy our last night near old town - and this suited our needs. Not completely clear in the photos but the King room is oddly configured and one person will have to climb over the other to get out of bed - this may be a problem for some people. Really had the feeling of a pod-type hotel room, but for the $ we are satisfied and would most likely stay again.

I liked how centrally located this hotel is, it is within walking distance to a ton of major attractions in Zurich. This property is also super automated with minimal staff. An ipad in the room to control everything you need, lights; tv; room service. Bed is comfortable and food is pretty good. Loved it!

Would NOT stay here again. Great staff; good location; good breakfast; comfortable mattress and pillows but can only get in on one side of the bed; terrible room and bathroom-TINY!!!- eating area fine; nothing else to hotel-halls like I imagine a hostel would be; expensive parking. Room MISERABLY small.

My cruise cabin was bigger. You must crawl over your partner to get in and out of bed. No dresser. No housecleaning unless you ask for it a day ahead of time. However, good location. Very clean and modern.

Stayed for only 1 night but would gladly stay for more if we were there for longer. We got to the hotel before check-in time and were accomodated instantly as they already had our room cleaned and ready early which was nice. The check-in clerk made sure we knew the differences between staying on one side of the building vs. the other side. There was a club/party nearby so we were made aware that one side is more susceptible to noise that night. We opted to stay on the quieter side and it was perfect. The room was a little tight in terms of space but for us as a couple it was fine. The lighting options in the room are pretty cool and are also controllable through a tablet; as is the television, curtains, blinds, and atmosphere of the room. The location was also nice and close to landmarks and sights as well as good restaurants. At checkout, the staff held our luggage for us for a few extra hours which was also nice and did not come at additional cost. Would stay here again.

I travel a lot and this was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. I travel solo so it was everything I needed and more. check-in was quick. They were kind and courteous. The location was perfect. Mostly it was affordable which I loved. Very clean too! God I love Zürich. I can’t wait to be back to this hotel. Book it!

Citizen M is a unique hotel property in Zurich. We enjoyed the stay although our iPad which controls everything in our room was dead on arrival, we were able to charge it on our own charging cord and get it up and running. The hotel was kind enough to comp us a breakfast for our troubles. The only down size was getting into a bed with only one size facing the room. Crawling over my spouse at 3 in the morning was not a fun experience for either of us. The staff was warm, engaging and helpful when we could not get our room’s iPad to work. We would stay here again if we had the opportunity to visit Zurich again.

This hotel was very unique in that the rooms are quite small but they make up for it with the immense public spaces for socializing, work, etc. Large lounge with bar and breakfast in the morning (other meals served as well but we only had breakfast there). Everything in the room is controlled by an IPad making it very easy to control shades, temperature, lights, etc.
