The property is well located close to the railway station and lake. There are lots of dining options close by. Breakfast was fairly simple not too many options. Our room was on the 5th floor with lift access there are a few steps to get to the lift. The room did not have a bar fridge or aircon but with windows open it was ok. It did have a safe. Pillows were not that comfortable for us. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

Hotel Scheuble is in a great location within the Old Town area of Zurich. We enjoyed our stay and the staff were phenomenal, especially the young lady who prepared the eggs and breakfast in the morning. We would have rated it a 5, but the room was a bit warm. We asked to lower the temperature, but they indicated the climate control was somehow related to the outside temperature. We would definitely stay there again.

Clean and tidy property which was in a central location and offered a fantastic breakfast. The period we stayed was very hot so not having air conditioning was not ideal.

I love that it is right next to the central library. Even on weekends I saw people studying or reading in the library. Although a few homeless or drunk people near the library at night , they were pretty quiet. Close and Safe to walk everywhere. For my room I could see ETH from my window - so nice and quiet. Enjoyed my stay here very much.

Hotel is very nice and in a great location. They did offer parking in their garage underground. Can park temporarily in front of the entrance but requires a key and/or a remote to access the garage anytime you leave or come back. Some of the staff was helpful, providing extra waters when asked. However we did have a few issues. It was not recorded correctly which room we were in. So, another guest was given the key to our room and entered at 11:30pm. Reception then called up and offered no apologies and was acting irritated as if it was our fault we were in the wrong room. Then the following day we were accidentally checked out, and our keys were deactivated even though we were still booked for another day.

Wonderful Hotel!

The hotel was wonderful…the location is not far from the train station…we took a short taxi ride…the room was spacious, clean and the bed extremely comfortable. this is a great place to stay!

Avoid.

Sleepless night. Plenty of mosquitoes. No a/c. Super tight rooms. We are a family of 6 adults that rented 3 rooms. There’s only 3 rooms on each floor that face the back of the building. We received all three back facing rooms and they couldn’t even change one room for us to face the street.
