Pleasant stay. Location is close to main railroad station "HB" (lots of shopping places) and bus terminal (where all bus tours start from). Room is relatively small, but newly renovated, clean and convenient. Will stay again.

Great spot just beside the old town, rooms are small but very clean and convenient. Beds are comfortable even the bunkbeds! 2min walk from the train station and 1 min walk from the tram Would stay again, strongly recommend

Had a wonderful stay. We can’t open the door when we got to the hotel. A worker directed us to another building and given a bigger room ( no extra charge). The following day, another worker was extremely helpful in giving us directions ( short cut) to the train station. Very clean. Friendly staff. Coffee/tea/ hot water available at no charge.

Place is conveniently located close to train station. Room very small. Better for one person. No A/C, though a fan helped. Front desk ( didn’t get her name) was so friendly and helpful. A good choice if you just have a night in transit.

This property is very convenient to the Main Train Station as well as the Bus Terminal. This results in quite a bit of pedestrian traffic in the area. We opted for the breakfast which is located at another Fred’s property a very short walk away. The breakfast was not dissimilar to a Hampton Inn and Suites breakfast in the US. No contact with any staff at Fred’s guest house, only on line interface. We know to expect this from reviews, it worked fine but takes getting used to. Accommodations such as the bathroom were small but adequate and we would stay here again under similar circumstances.

The thing we miss the most in the rooms was a lack of wash clothes for the shower there was a bit of confusion of where to find the main office when we arrived at the off-site house as we walked there direct from the train station and we're a bit confused and how to get the keys to the room other than that everything was fine

Perfect for convenience to Zürich HBF—literally a 30 second walk to track 18 and entrance to the station concourse. The neighborhood is fine and requires only a 15 minute walk to the main restaurant and shopping streets in town. The rooms are small and basic, but also new and very clean. Great value for the price, especially because we selected the property for access to the trains.
