Mandalay Bay is a lovely resort - very nice facility. It is clean and presents a higher class feeling. However, I was disappointed that the property was not willing to get me a better rate for my 3 night stay. I booked in advance and thought that this would ultimately save me money in the long-run. BUT - on the day of the check in, I was able to find a much better room for less than the price I paid. The front desk were not helpful at all in the fact that any changes had to be made and given 24 hours in advance. As it was my birthday weekend, the front desk gave me a $50 voucher for drinks and food but at the time of check out - that $50 was not applied. The check out line was so long that it was not even worth it to contest the fee. I also think that people should be made aware that there is a $50 fee charged PER DAY added on top of your reservation fee. I was disappointed that the gym in the SPA area required $25 per day to use. That is a bit of a joke and highly disappointing. The 'free' gym is ridiculous. On the first night, in the room beside mine, a man was locked out of his room. He was banging on the door, shouting etc etc. I tried to call the front desk but the phone in the room did not work. Finally at 3 or 4 am the security came. I would not stay at the Mandalay again. It just felt like a complete scam.

There is a lot to explore. The room was nice and in good shape, especially compared to other hotels. The bathroom was very nice, but the cleaning job was questionable. The shower is dark marble (very smooth) so when I was showering, it surprised me when there were lumps inter my feed. When I looked, there were gobs of hair. Something caught my eye on the shower wall too. Enough hair to resemble a big hairy spider… aside from that, I enjoyed my time there. Restaurants didn’t really stand out enough to keep me there though.

Very neat and accessible. I have stayed at this Hotel/casino 3 times in the past. Every time my visit has been great. The next time I am in Vegas I will choose The Mandalay Bay again. I love shops and restaurants plus the Poker room was very convenient and the dealers and managers were friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed BET/MGM. The lines were long after the SuperBowl, but it moved fast. I was able to keep my wife busy with the Spa Treatments as well. This was a great trip.

Beautiful property with all the amenities needed for a great stay. The tram can be taken from the property, nice casino, great dining options, gorgeous room, attentive and helpful staff and quiet room. Because it’s so large, the parking can be overwhelming. Ask lots of questions once you’ve arrived because the parking can be a nightmare. If you don’t have to park, then it’s a non-issue.

This is the last hotel on the strip but it’s totally worth it. The price is really accessible, the rooms are huge, comfortable and renovated or super well maintained. They have a conference center attached, starbucks, tons of fine dining restaurants, shops and the casino. You can use the free MGM tram that connects The Mandalay hotel all the way to the New York. The beds are comfortable, the staff is friendly, everything is clean and functional. Great choice if you don’t mind being on the farther side of the strip. The hotel is huge so expect some walking. Definitely a very good choice if you are not looking for a super modern option.
