Anzin-Saint-Aubin Vacation Packages

Lovely room, good location, friendly and helpful staff, breakfast a bit limited. The booking through Expedia was simple, but the hotel received a booking for 2 single rooms, one in the wing name spelling, and neither with breakfast, whereas my receipt stated 2 double rooms, including breakfast, and in the correct names. Luckily the hotel were amiable.

great for a short stay

Our room was right next of street entrance and it is open air. I thought if the entrance glass door installed at the streetside gate, it would be better but the glass door is about 30 feet inside of entrance way. When I open the room, people can see from the street and it should be cold on winter time.

The room was beautifully appointed, with the bathroom and changing area well separated from the sleeping area. The balcony gave a nice view of nearby architecture. The location of the hotel was in walking distance to the main Republic plaza, dining, and the Palais des Beaux Arts. The Citadel park, also in walking distance, served as a viewing point of the solar eclipse. Eurostar train service to London and other locations in mainland Europe was a short 20 min walk away. The buffet breakfast was excellent and I especially appreciated the water spiggets on each floor to fill up your water bottle with either plain filtered or carbonated water. The front desk was mostly helpful, although one woman could have used additional customer support training in cheerfully answering questions. The room was cooled to a comfortable temperature, a welcome respite from the outside heat wave. All in all a wonderful experience. I would return.
