This property actually would have been great and received five stars from me except that the boilers were down and there was no heat in the room. I wouldn't have even minded that so much if the staff would have just admitted it. They did offer to move us to another room but the very same situation existed. Please just be upfront with guests. I understand things can go wrong with mechanicals in a building, just don't tell me something that isn't accurate.

I stayed overnight while on a business trip. THe room was quiet, clean and comfortable. It was possible to turn off the unnecessary aircon without having it roar back on in the middle of the night. I could not get the wifi to connect, but used the hotspot for my laptop. THe location was a 15 to 20 minute walk from where the restaurants are, so I walked off any extra calories consumed at the Governor's after a pleasant dinner on the patio watching a spectacular sunset. Very unfortunately, it looked as if very few rooms at the hotel actually face the river. But it was a good place to sleep, and I would return.
