Staffs are really friendly and nice. Location is convenience if you are looking for restaurants to eat or shopping. However, perhaps the building is old so it’s very nosey while others are walking in the hallway.

Great location but won’t visit again
When we first went in the room, found that there are a few stain on the bedsheet, which affect the first expression. Then we try to connect WiFi but failed, hotel mentioned it cannot be fixed the first night because of the weather. As a traveller, the internet connection is a key part which is a shame and unacceptable. However, day 2 when we backed to the hotel, the internet still not fixed. They did not offer us to switch room until we reached out to reception for twice. The new room does not have the balcony which is the whole point of me choosing this hotel at first. Such a bumpy and tiring experience which I don’t think this is the service offered by a four star hotel. A few good reviews: Great location, nearby the city center so you can access elsewhere easily; A complimentary champagne due to our special celebration request.

Excellent service
I had an excellent experience staying at Acta Atrium. The staff were friendly, especially Priscilla and another lady (of Italian origin). Additionally, the room was cleaned daily to a very high standard. I would recommend Acta Atrium to anyone going Barcelona. I was a bit apprehensive initially coming from the UK but the hotel lived up to the 4 star rating.

Beautiful hotel. Great location. Excellent and friendly staff. Decent breakfast. A little noisy from the kids playing in school yard behind hotel. Would stay there again.

Nice location. Free coffee at lobby is nice. Via Gran is a major street, so expect the traffic noise from the street. Mattress is a little old, not firm.

The location was good, breakfast was worth it, pretty solid, but room was not optimal. Very low ceiling, bed not comfortable, AC was broken. Really thought it would be better. With so many good & not expensive options for hotels in Barcelona, kinda regret booking this particular one.

Pick up your things and put them up.
I would possibly stay here again. The location is great. Everything close by. Walking distance. Different metros nearby as well. I would definitely recommend put all your things away. I did notice i had a pair of pants missing the last couple of days and unfortunately they were not returned. The place is nice and clean. The A/C was ok. At night i got a little hot but nothing crazy.

Conveniently located near museums and Gaudi apartments, and Arc de Triumph. Near metros and busses. Only thing my room was facing a school and another hotel so there was a lot of noise all times of the day. Area around was dirty, and felt unsafe to walk at night. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Hair in the bathroom sink when I got there. Ridiculous shower set up with the piece of glass blocking 25-30% of the shower to prevent water from falling out. I booked a queen bed and get to the room to find the European nonsensical special of two twin beds pushed together and they told me that I would have to wait until tomorrow in order to get a queen bed like I booked. I don't care if it's requested and not guaranteed- for 200-300 euros a night you should be able to book the room type you like and not have to throw a hissy fit to get a decent bed and not sleep on 2 sofas pushed together for 200-300 euros. Total nonsense. Good breakfast. Excellent location.
