Good place!
The hotel was good, but nothing out of the extraordinary. I wished I had selected something closer to all the interesting points as I ended up spending more on cabs that I had anticipated.

Great location close to the Sagrada Familia but small. We wanted 2 twin beds -- well we had 2 twin beds but they had to be so close to each other that it was really 1 king bed and not much other space in the room (could barely get my suitcase between the foot of the bed and the wall)

Great location.. 15 mins walk to la Sagrada familia..really close to metro stop, lots of places to eat around the hotel, mini supermarkets as well. 14 mins walk to a nice mini mall with lots to eat, shop and the flea market is also about a 16 mins walk, to get to the airport on the metro was a bit long, so be prepared. Overall, good hotel and would stay again.

Hotel cuya estructura externa simula ser moderno, pero internamente es antiguo, requiere mejoras y remodelaciones. Camas incómodas, espacio del baño mínimo (para cruzar a la ducha, debes atravesar el inodoro). Great staff, nice breakfast, great location, the property is clean. For our room, bathroom is clean, water pressure and water temperature are great. Air conditioning is okay - temperature swings over night, sometimes it gets too warm without changing the setting. Some outlets for charging don’t work. Overall, this hotel is still a good choice.

Decent size room but bathroom was a joke. You had to literally climb over the toilet to get into the bath / shower. Extremely unsafe. Had to sit sideways on the toilet because of a marble counter directly in front of it that you hit your legs on when you stand up. Bath was so small you could only sit cross legged in it or go on your back and slide your legs up the wall (not an exageration - the toilet was more than half the length of the bath). I don't mind a small bathroom but it has to be functional... The staff reaction when I reported this and the dirty blankets & dirty towel was non-descript - no apology, nothing. This hotel shouldn't be offered on Expedia.

Hotel Catalonia Sagrada Familia
The Catalonia Sagrada Familia is a lovely little hotel, with very friendly staff and a nice little bar and restaurant. While it may not be located in the best part of the city, it’s a 15 minute walk to the Sagrada Familia. There are some nice little cafes and restaurants dotted about the place within easy walking distance. I’d definitely stay there again and wouldn’t have any issues in recommending it to friends.
