Mosquitoes everywhere even in the room, hot in the room , 2 bunk beds u expexted, not secure and unsafe. Front desk ignored my request to change to one bed. No amenities, i felt like i was in a barracks. Not recommended for tourist.

Worst night I’ve ever spent laying awake waiting for morning. After a long day and a late fight this was a horrible place to spent a night. The pictures on this website painted a waaasyyy to rosie of a picture of this dump. Air conditioning did not function as after waiting the 5 minutes as instructed and the room very warm. My repeated calls to the front desk went unanswered. I gave up and resorted to opening patio door after waiting promised five minute wait for air; only to be invaded by bugs. Decided to bare the heat and literally sweat through showering. I booked a room for two, with a bed and got two sets of bunk beds, I felt like I’d been drafted. Having spent from midnight until 5 am in this room, without sleep, it was an expensive place to take a lousy shower then lay sweating while waiting for morning. I will likely never trust Expedia again.

Great friendly check in. Closest metro was Parc Nou plus 10 min walk. I wouldnt like to walk it in the dark but was ok in daylight. Economic option for 10 minute cab ride to T1 airrport but still costs 30 Euros. Were some noisy neighbours but was fine for a place to sleep for one night for early flight out the next day.

AC wouldn't work in the room, when I went down to enquire was told is ok even though I got the receptionist up the room to check himself. Lights would trip frequently - not very helpful when you have kids along. Asked for an iron was told that's it's stolen and don't have one!! Housekeeping were helpful though although language was a barrier

I rented a Superior Single room for one night. Walked from Parc Nou station, easy to find. The property has the feel of a university dorm. Clean, safe, dinner and breakfast options were simple, affordable and tasty. I would stay here again.

I got a single room at this hostel. It was large, the bathroom was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, including croissants, sandwich meat, fruit, yogurt, and coffee. It is about a 10 minute walk from the Metro, but it is really hard to push a wheeled suitcase, as the sidewalks have small square patterns embedded in them. This is a problem in many Barcelona neighbourhoods, and is not a reflection of the hostel (just a warning about the walk there). The hostel uses recycled water in the toilets and showers, but the tap water is potable.

Would stay again

Although this is a hostel type accommodation, we found it brilliant. Staff were great and very helpful. Room had 4 single bunk beds in it and bathroom was very spacious. Breakfast was self service plentiful. Places to eat within a short(ish) walk. Was about 6 miles outside Barcelona and one of the routes to the hotel was blocked by roadworks which caused us satnav issues but that wasn't the hotels fault. Only dislike was the state of the free car park. It was covered in sand with big ruts in it. We had torrential rain during the night and came down to our bikes covered in sand where the rain had bounced off the ground. On balance we would still stay there again.

Very interesting Self sustaining foundation with hotel and school for kids, strong ecológical mentally, rooms can be a bit hot when coming in fue to energy conservation features. A bit pricey for all bunker beds rooms but it does the job for short stays. Keep up the environmental effort !
