Great hotel
The room, pillows and bed are very comfortable. The hotel is pretty clean and is also centrally located. Staff was very courteous when we checked in and checked out. They helped us arrange for a cab to the airport very early in the morning.

The hotel is beautiful, clean and very well located. However, rooms that face reception have very bad soundproofing and you can basically hear everything in in pool and reception. Not the best if you are looking for a calm and quiet night of sleep.

Relaxing stay
When all hotels look the same pick this one! It's really worth paying the extra for a terrace room. They are a peaceful spot overlooking gardens and have comfy couches. The rooftop pool is small but pleasant. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. I would stay again. Good location as well between Eixample and the Gothic quarter.

They took too long to check guests in the hotel. The dining area for dinner was horrible and the selection was limited; I ended up with food poisoning the next morning. The staff in the breakfast area had no clue how to help people or clear plates from the table. The beds were uncomfortable and were terrible (the mattresses were like a box spring - very thin, no comfort at all). The room controls were useless when trying to control the humidity/temperature/lighting. The staff could not speak English properly; i.e. we could not obtain facecloths for the washroom, they had no idea what we were trying to ask for during our stay. I would NOT recommend the hotel at all.
