The property is situated in El Raval area of Barcelona. It is really close to the busy La Rambla and other popular spots. Rambla del Mar is about 25min walk, Sagrada Familia 35min, Parc Guel about 45-50min. It is off the Liceu L3 train station and really easy to navigate anywhere. It is practically beside Boqueria Sant Josep. El Raval is unfortunately a really run down area that can be dangerous at night, but the people that live and business around here are warm and I found myself eating and drinking in this area.

Nice clean property. Rooms are a bit small but we ran into this on most of our trip across Europe. If you’re looking for a bathroom door that latches, look elsewhere as this hotel follows the “if you can’t poop together you shouldn’t travel together” rule. Walkable to lots of shops and restaurants, cabs are reasonable but suggest walking away from the hustle and bustle to hail one to save yourself money (metered cabs). We walked to Parque de la Ciatudella, Arc de Triomf, and the cathedral each morning. A beautiful walk with lots of breakfast options along the way starting around 8-9am. Staff was so kind and helpful at all hours. Would absolutely stay again!

Great location. Just in the middle of the action. Few minutes walk on each side to reach catalagje square. Gothic village and marina. A HUGE number of restaurant around the place. During our stay. The hotel changed name from Ramblas to Catalonia Hotel. This did not affect our stay . Room towels logo changed and additional staff at reception . The hotel was very clean. Room service outstanding We will be back for sure
