Although from the outside the hotel didn't look like much, and the walk up to the reception also, the rooms and the dining area were excellent.- clean, convenient and comfortable. The rooms were very clean, with good air conditioning. The dining area offered free teas and coffees with a professional Nespresso machine. NEGATIVE: -the property is located in a VERY DIRTY (garbage everywhere, smell of urine, etc) street; -there is no lobby. You walk up two flight of stairs to find a person behind a small desk; -the computer screens in my home office are larger than the tv in the room. I have NEVER stayed at a hotel with a 19inch tv; - there are not dressers; -no closet; -no full size mirror..the only mirror in the entire room is the small one in the bathroom ; -only 1 waste basket (in the bathroom); -no refrigerator; -no safe; -no coffee maker in the room; -the bed does not have comforters. We were very uncomfortable getting to the hotel at night. We didn’t feel safe. One night when we arrive after dinner, there were a group of men by the entrance door smoking and drinking. At night it is very noisy (outside). I didn’t understand why there were earplugs next to the tv controller until night time. POSITIVE: -Raul (serves breakfast) is a very tentative, and nice staff member; -the hallway is clean; -our small room was clean; -close to transportation; -close to La Ramba; I DO NOT recommend this hotel.

Good Hotel. Terrible spot
The hotel is very clean. The service is good. The main problem is the location. Really is terrible! Is the worst place of Barcelona! Of you don't mind about the place is ok. But again dont arrive later at the hotel in the night.

Its a great hotel and cleaned nicely. The staff are very helpful and made us feel very safe. However outside the hotel the area is sketchy, especially at night. It’s only a 6/7 minute walk from La Ramblas, but you have to walk quickly to and from at night. Overall, we had a lot of fun and loved the hotel, but were just extra cautious when we were outside.

The room is extremely small and there is not even space to put your luggage. No closets, no dressers, no refrigerator, and a 12 inch TV. It was very uncomfortable for two people and definitely not worth the price. The pictures are very misleading and are nothing close to what you will get. The neighborhood was a bit seedy at night, and upon arrival we found people smoking marijuana outside the door. The only positive I would give is that it’s located close to interesting spots within walking distance.

We chose this hotel because the price was right considering the world was here for a Formula One race. While the room was small, it was refurbished and nice looking with a good bed. The bathroom was also as good with plenty of room to put toiletries while getting ready. Getting to the hotel and getting to the room was another story entirely. It is located down one of the narrow streets, which is fine in itself, however, the street is populated with a variety of people from all over the world, with many of them, ominous looking from the perspective of one who doesn’t see such life often. I will say that no one bothered us at all walking down the streets even at night. The street did not have a fresh smell probably from the variety of foods that were being cooked. There was laundry hanging from the balconies that were not being used to stuff ones extra belongings. Upon entering the hotel, you are greeted with a nice looking long staircase, however, the luggage lift was broken. The staff, for the most part, were good and efficient. In summary, I would say that if the price is what you’re looking for there’s no reason not to pick this hotel and you will have a good night sleep.
