While the check in was smooth, the room was very hot. When we inquired at the desk we were told the AC was off for the winter. Even with opening the window the room did not cool off. And then there was road noise. No sleep.

We were in Barcelona for 2 nights and originally chose this hotel for its location. Two of us were unexpectedly sick when we arrived in Barcelona off a cruise ship. A pharmacy was next door which was handy, as well as a market where our adult son shopped at daily to feed us back at the hotel. The staff was very polite and accommodating and when we could finally start home (and see a doctor) the front desk called a cab for us which only took 7 minutes to arrive to pick us up.

I recently stayed at Hotel ILUNION Bel Art in Barcelona, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready with a smile and eager to help with anything we needed. They went above and beyond with assisting us in making reservations for taxis and providing local tips, which made getting around the city so much easier. The breakfast was a highlight of our stay, with a fantastic variety of fresh and tasty options each morning. The selection included everything from pastries to fresh fruit and hot items, so there was something for everyone to enjoy. It was a great way to start the day before heading out to explore Barcelona. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable, with a stylish decor that gave a fresh feel. The location was convenient, providing easy access to nearby attractions while being in a peaceful area away from the crowds. Overall, I’d highly recommend Hotel ILUNION Bel Art for its friendly service, helpful staff, and great breakfast. It’s an ideal place to stay for anyone visiting Barcelona!

3 nights at Barcelona before cruise
Nice area, close to metro and walkable to the church and lots of restaurants in area. As this is considered as residential area, I felt safe to walk area at night. Clean room, just a little noise at night.
