Getting to the hotel from the airport was the easiest and best point. Our room had a very nice view overlooking Las Rambla. The bathroom condition was not the best, the tiles were broken and smelled. The people at the reception were very nice and very hospitable and gave us many recommendations for things to do.

Location locations location Mostly that is the best thing here. Bed is comfortable clean thats all that matters to me when you are in Barcelona why even stay at the room go out enjoy the city

Can’t ask for a better location in Barcelona, big room, big bathroom, everything clean, balcony viewing Plaza Cataluña, really close to metro and at the beginning of La Rambla, soap, shampoo, nice and clean towels. I will stay again without any doubt. Thank you for my great stay

Alright this hotel is great for service and location for sure. However, it is very basic in its appearance and amenities. I don’t even think they had a hair dryer. The overall look of the hotel is for sure older, they could use some Reno’s. The elevator can only accommodate to a certain number of people and was a bit slow. The staff are lovely, very friendly and they let us stay in the upstairs lounge while we had to wait for a delayed flight. Location is excellent right in front of Primark, loads of restaurants and a station steps away.

Location was good as was in easy reach to navigate around the city as transport links are on your doorstep.Staff were very welcoming and good source of information. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Had no hairdryer in room but they will provide if you ask at reception . Would stay again !

We stayed at this hotel in late July 2024. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Excellent customer service! Location of this hotel is very convenient, but very busy as soon as you walk outside the hotel. We didn’t mind being in a busy area since it was very convenient to get around, and we could walk to just about anywhere we needed within a 15- 30 minute walk. Also, the hop on and hop off stops were less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel. We were also able to buy tickets to the hop on hop off at the hotel. One downside to the hotel room we stayed in was that the bathroom was tight and not very comfortable; especially the location of the toilet and what seemed like a half size tub. Other than that it was a great stay. I would definitely consider staying at this hotel again when visiting Barcelona in the future.

Great Stay

Hotel Monegal is in the heart of Barcelona. It’s right on Las Ramblas, the street that doesn’t sleep and next to the metro. The front desk staff were very friendly. They have luggage storage. The room was quite spacious and clean. Maybe a bit of updating would be nice. The private bathroom was very small. If you are a large person, it wouldn’t work for you. I loved having a balcony looking onto Las Ramblas. The beds were not much to sleep on. They moved around quite a bit. I feel like they need to be made stationary. If you want to be in the heart of everything, this is the place to be.
