The property was close to sites for tourism purposes. The food choices in the restaurant were minimal. The bar did not have a lot of the options that were on the menu. The room did not have an ironing board. Some English channels would be nice.

Crapping on the little man for a small profit!

Our stay was actually very comfortable overall. The only physical complaint I have is that it was a bit too noisy on our floor late at night. It sounded like someone was having a party, or maybe a large group of kids was staying there on a trip. Either way, it disrupted what was otherwise a pleasant experience. The reason I’m giving the hotel a low rating is due to its management and customer service. We had booked a two-night stay, but shortly after check-in, we received some unfortunate news about a family member and needed to leave a day early. We went to the front desk and explained our situation. The receptionist spoke with the manager on duty, who approved a refund for the second night. A few days after returning home, we saw the refund had been issued. However, a couple of days later, the hotel re-charged us for that second night—this time to our bank account instead of the credit card we had originally used at check-in. We called the hotel and eventually emailed the manager, providing documentation of both the original charge and the refund. It didn't matter to them. They claimed they had no record of a manager approving the refund—even though we had proof that the refund was issued. Their attitude essentially amounted to: “We have the money now—too bad.” I recommend staying elsewhere. Even during a time of personal hardship, this hotel showed no empathy or accountability, chosing to keep a relatively small amount of money rather than honor their managers action.

This hotel does not have airport transportation as stated. Our room was not the correct room but they said they upgraded us. The room did not accommodate our party so we had to wait longer. The hotel coordinated our transportation to the cruise terminal but it did not show leaving us to find two cabs last minute. Horrible service. I ended up having to clean scum out of the bathtub as well. Thankfully we are not staying here when we return. The room also smelled of mold.

The hotel was new. Although the restaurant was good and friendly, reception staff wasn’t really friendly. HK team was friendly but didn’t really understand when they were making the room, once they came very late and once they knock the door at 9 while we were still asleep.

Not great management

The check in process took about 30 mins. It was the longest check in I have every experienced. The wait alone to check in was about 45+ mins and then the added 30 mins on top of that. The room we reserved was not the room they provided for 1 of my rooms but it was fine, so I thought because I had 2 reservations. The night front desk said they gave us a complimentary upgrade to a Jacuzzi room. Great! So I thought. I asked if we could stay in the same rooms since we had 2 separate reservations for the next day. They said yes. Well the next day came and our key cards didn't work. We went to the lobby and they said we had to switch rooms because the booking was for a different room and if we wanted to stay in the same room it'll be an additional 50 euros because it's an upgraded Jacuzzi room. I told them that the night front desk gave us that room complimentary I'm assuming because the room I booked was not available. The day manager said she didn't know anything about it and I would have to pay an additional charge. We paid it just so we would not be inconvenienced of packing back up plus we wanted to be on the same floor as our children. Well we tried to use the Jacuzzi and water jetted out from the bottom flooding the room and our bags. The front called maintenance and they just looked at it but came back in the morning to fix it. It was a process to even try to get compensated for the additional 50euros we paid. Needless to say I will not be staying here again.

After an initial problem with being allocated a room that hadn't been cleaned, all was good in a different room. Check in did take a long time, despite us arriving late. Breakfast had a good choice. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the metro, easy to get to and from the airport and to the other main attractions (you need to change lines for these). We enjoyed our stay in Barcelona
