Missing the Factor X

The Hotel is not so close from city centre. A taxi will take 20minutes...via a Train / Metro more than 30 minutes while a bus will take around 1 hour to reach the hotel. Though the distance was known before the booking, we found the tariffs of Sercotel lower among others during peak of conference season and overall availability was lower near city centre. When you pay between €150-200 per night for a room ( we booked 4 rooms for our team members), you will expect atleast a water bottle per person in the room OR a hot water kettle with cups/Coffee/ tea for 1-2 servings...This is how standard hotels in big cities serve the guests now days, We missed this courtesy. We missed the Iron/ iron Board in the rooms and had to share 1 Iron that was available on day 3 of our stay. The staff was courteous and cheerful. Hygiene and cleanliness.. I will rate it is as 'NOT EXCELLENT'

Staff were really friendly and helpful! They held all our luggage before our rooms were ready (we arrived really early). Helped us figure out what was open - even called a store to confirm. Gave good guidance on how to get around.

Convenient location close to the airport. Metro station was walking distance, which made it easy to get to the center of Barcelona. The area felt safe and quiet. The staff was very friendly, room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were excellent. Highly recommend staying here!

The front desk staff was wonderful. My rental car died and I had to get to the airport, so the helped me call the rental car agency and got me a cab so I could make my flight. So appreciate their help. Overall, the hotel was clean, safe and would stay again. Recommend highly.

I liked this hotel because it was quiet and safe. The hotel has good breakfasts and there is also a good WOK restaurant nearby where I can have dinner. There are many transportation options nearby to get to downtown.

This hotel was nearby to many attractions which was perfect. Staff were helpful with checking in and out . Room was clean and nice. Only issue- there were neighbors who were being loud like the hotel was a hostel in the early am and had a flight to catch. I knocked on the door and told then to quiet down. I also alerted staff. Staff was helpful with telling the guests to keep it down. Otherwise no other issues. Would return again as it is nearby to so many things.

The hotel are very nice. Like new. Is like any holiday inn. But it’s nothing to do around. No restaurant or any places to buy anything. Nothing. The breakfast cost 15 euros extra, but it’s a great breakfast at the hotel.
