Room was basic but comfortable. Stingy tea and coffee and no milk. Beds a bit hard but clean. Loved the old fashioned room and curtains and little balcony . Great street with cafes and easy walking distance to squares and transport!

Lovely, historic, elegant hotel steps from EVERYTHING! A restful stay on a quiet street two minutes from Las Ramblas and Plaza Catalonia! Excellent English speaking staff, effective heating and a/c, room safe, modern bath room with lots of hot water and water pressure!

: Excellent location. Everything is literally around the corner, walking distance, including old town. Excellent and inexpensive breakfast cafe right across from the hotel. Staff friendly, helped with the taxi. -: Rooms are very tiny, no room for suitcases. Got a few bruises moving around the room. Light in the room is on the “economy” side - had only two night stands with night lights. Was Ok for the price.

Very professional staff. Great breakfast options for a reasonable fee. we were two families travelling and were given rooms close to each other connected by our own hallway so very private and quiet. Free water available. Provided information on transportation and arranged for a taxi to pick up at the front door during a very rainy day. Looks like a former palace and just off La Rambla. Nearby bus stop for Barcelonetta Beach and the shopping mall near Catalunya with the 9th floor cafeteria with great food and views of the city.
