Staying at Hotel Nouvel was like taking a step back in time. I really enjoyed that feeling. Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again if I ever go back to Barcelona.

It’s a cute little boutique hotel. Due to it being old, it is quite loud and you can hear every word said in your hall. The rooms are small but with all that being said, staff were nice and friendly, the area is great, the shower was great and I felt safe. I would stay there again.

The location is great, but the hotel itself is very old and hasn’t been updated. For the first two days, we struggled with the air conditioning and received the wrong instructions from one of the staff members, who seemed uninterested in helping us. It was frustrating enough that we were ready to change rooms. Thankfully, the next day a different staff member finally gave us the correct directions, and the AC worked — thank goodness! Still, the overall experience was disappointing. There are better hotel options nearby, and we won’t be staying here again.

This hotel was gorgeous. It looked like it was straight out of a movie. The decor and architecture was beautiful. Everything was designed very well. It was a super cool place to stay. The staff was amazing. Each person I spoke with was extremely friendly and helped me with exactly what I needed. There was a luggage room for us to leave our things before we checked in. The gentleman at the front desk arranged a taxi for us which made it super easy. I loved this place and would 100% go back.
