Location is good, room is good for 2 persons and clean. Only thing to say is the water drain in sink is probably plugged and very slow. Overall i would recommend this hotel

Very honest review food,rooms,staff, excellent. Suggestions would be more wait staff in the main pool area and also it would be nice to be able to order food in the pool area only a couple minor negatives the beach is not very nice and also watch out for the sales people they changed the name from time share to property memberships its the same thing beware! Other than that go and enjoy!

Hamburger breakdown!
I had a terrible experience in the rooftop pool restaurant. First, there was no staff at that pool bar. I had to go down to the restaurant on the ground floor so they could send staff up. I ordered a hamburger. After a long wait with a luke warm beer, I got my hamburger and cut the first bite. It was raw and cold inside. The staff had disappeared. I had to take my plate and take the elevator down to the lower floor and the restaurant there. I spoke to the butler who apologized and promised to come up with a new one. Back to the roof. A new hamburger arrived after 20 min. Cut up a piece. Same thing again. Completely raw and cold inside. I manage to call the waiter before he had disappeared and announce that this was unbelievable. Same thing again. Raw hamburger. He apologizes and announces that he will immediately get a new one. I'm waiting.... The waiter now came back with? .... the same hamburger I just cut a piece off. Now reheated. And with the same fries that have been going up and down the hotel for about 1 hour.... Not crispy directly! I go straight down and complain and get apologies from the manager with a promise to get the money back for the burger (not the beer). And receive a gift in the form of the hotel's own Cava as a goodwill gift. Unfortunately, the ice bucket is not sealed, so the shelf where the bucket stood is soaked and has soaked everything that was on the shelf: books, clothes etc. It didn't really work as a goodwill gift!

We had a delightful 3-night stay at the Olivia Balmes Hotel with our 1.5-year-old, and it was perfect for us. The staff went above and beyond, setting up a comfortable crib for our daughter and gifting her a little stuffed bunny, which she absolutely loved. The hotel is very family-friendly, with high chairs readily available and plenty of kid-friendly amenities. Our room was incredibly spacious—even with the crib in, we had tons of space for our luggage and stroller. The hotel and room design is modern with a touch of elegance, and everything felt thoughtfully arranged. The location is superb, in a safe and trendy neighborhood, with everything within walking distance and easy access to transportation. The staff were consistently friendly and responsive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with lots of options for both kids and adults. We loved the rooftop pool with its beautiful view, and the pool bar served the most delicious sangrias and really great food. Highly recommend the Olivia Balmes for small families—we’ll definitely stay here again when we return to Barcelona!

Don’t be fooled! Book the W hotel instead!
Too expensive for what it is! You could stay at the W with massive rooms and many amenities for less than here. The bar downstairs isn’t really open ever. The front desk staff was amazing. But beyond the front desk and bell hop they were not so friendly. In the gym we started to workout and the staff came to vacuum as we worked out, very odd. The rooms were not at all like pictured on the site. It’s a decent modern hotel but I’d say 7-7.5. Was very disappointed in the $1ks euros for two nights and the staff barely acknowledged us for drinks or food orders.
