Overall Petit Palace La Boqueria was in a very central location of Las Ramblas. The location was conveniently close to the Gothic quarter and also any other location with a 40 minute- 1 hour walk bringing you to just about anywhere we wanted to go. The hotel itself was a great option if you are looking for a budget friendly hotel in Barcelona. It was clean, safe with the key entry at the front door, and the breakfast provided the best variety we saw across three different cities in Spain. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. One mention I do want to make is it is not directly accessible by taxi. Upon arriving to Barcelona, we did have to walk with our bags just down an alleyway to the entrance of the hotel. At night that alley was very noisy, but that is to be expected in any major city. I do appreciate the cleanliness, roominess, and help that the hotel provided.

Great location for the hussle and bustle but just enough of La Rambla to avoid most of the noise. A little noisy outside at night but no worse than any other hotel in the area - comes with the territory, I think. Lovely, quiet courtyard garden for drinks and food. Quality restaurant and buffet breakfast.

when in Barcelona...

check in was a nightmare - they neglected to say there was construction all around the hotel and no way to drive anywhere close - and did not answer the phone when i called to get advice on how to get to them or where to park, they also did not have the room i reserved avaialbe but did make up for it by providing 2 rooms at no additonal cost...
