We were unsble to sleep as on Las Ramblas street and a citizen of Barcelona and female partnet from 2 AM and 4AM yelled all that time at each other very loudly not allowing thos vlose to street to slerp

The main floor is quite gorgeous, the breakfast buffet generous and the day staff very helpful. However the room and amenities were lacking. The wifi did not reach to our room. The air conditioning was weak and the matresses sagged in the middle. Over all, the room served it's purpose and i would come back because of the location.

The staff, location, room was amazing. Honestly the place was lovely, a little pricey for a beer, but it is the centre of the busiest place in Barca. The only thing I would suggest is better pillows

There's a nightclub next to the hotel that didn't stop playing horrendously loud music until 6am😡😡😡 When I stay there again I would want a room on the 7th floor at the back of the hotel so that I could get a good night's sleep.

An older 100 year property. Was basic, but was in a great area on Ramblas 33. A very walkable area with lots of shops and restaurants. Large treed area between roads that made comfortable walking. Lots of tourists. Wonderful breeze coming up from sea to make it comfortable. Wonderful flamenco dinner and show next store. Very basic, but convenient. Would stay there again. Staff was courteous and helpful.

The location of the hotel was in the centre of Barcelona, however the room we originally got given was on the 1st floor. Smelt of sewerage and there was mould on the roof next to the aircon duct. We ended up speaking to reception where they gladly changed the room for the night, but we had to pack our bags up again the following day as they couldn’t guarantee the room we had been given for the following night. We got asked to store our luggage in the luggage room where the key got given to us to do ourselves which wasn’t really secure as anyone who had bags in there had access to them. The beds were hard as a rock, very uncomfortable. The rooms aren’t insulated so you hear every thing happening in the hall way and other rooms. The reception desk is manned 24 hours however anyone could walk in and go up the stairs to where the rooms are. Unfortunately I didn’t feel safe or comfortable at this hotel. Staff were lovely though.

Panel ceiling above the bathtub/shower was not slotted correctly therefore it widen over our (3) days there. I alerted the management that I felt it was suspicious (possibly a camera hidden above) I was told I was overreacting, I threatened to contact the police if it wasn’t dealt with to have them take action.

It was a cool experience to stay in La Rambla. Pretty near of a lot of restaurants and stores. The place is convenient because has everything, including a bar and restaurant but, the staff was very rude and don’t make us feeling welcome. They can better that for a best experience.

A very dated hotel. Air con is dreadful. We had to enlist the support of hotels.com to get maintenance to switch an additional button on in the ceiling (hidden) even so the air goes up to the roof and not within the room. We moved the bed nightly to be under the ducts as the airfow didn’t cover the room. All people at breakfast were saying the same. Very hot rooms. Public areas were hot and queues for the lift in the heat were only manageable with a hand held fan. Breakfast room hot but you’ll need to go to get a cuppa. No kettle in the rooms. However the views from the balcony are excellent. Take ear plugs.
