The property is in a great location, unfortunately there was lots of construction in front and all along Las Ramblas. However, they did handle it well. Breakfast was good.

Property itself is excellent but there is some construction in the area, protests and it's a very popular area so lots of foot traffic, but if you're looking to stay in this area you probably know that, room was excellent, as was the staff.

Great location as a tourist. Close to Mercado and metro! Handled the national power outage like champs… bottled water and snacks would’ve been great as I had no cash to buy dinner and networks were down for card payments.

Dissapointing!

Booked a 3 night stay. Unfortunately was given the room directly next to the lift. Very noisy every half an hour until 5am. Usually this would be acceptably if your only staying 1 night but when staying 3 nights I think you deserve better. Went up to the room safe was not in working order and TV would not turn on. They did attend to these items that evening. Breakfast was bland probably the worst of our 3 week tour of Europe. Not the Hotels fault but they are conducting work on the entire La Ramblas Rd. Our room was also positioned closest to the nightly protests by the pro Palestine protest nightly at the supermarket next door. NO HOTELS.COM VIP Gold member benefits ie bottle of wine (as advertised), upgrade etc. Overall a very dissapointing visit to this hotel.

The Royal Ramblas i slocated right on one of the busiest streets of Barcelona. There is alot going on and people everywhere. It makes it easy to walk anywhere from here but you have to be okay with crowds. For my family and I, we would choose amother area if we visit again. The hotel is small and has no room service so that is something to consider. The rooms were very clean and beds were very comfortable but they were small and dont expect a view. Overall it was a good stay.

Great Location. Very clean modern appointment rooms. Sofa bed was NOT comfortable at all. Not appropriate for anyone over 12 to sleep on. However, the main bed was extremely comfortable. High quality mattress and linens. bathroom was clean and modern. Shower water pressure was very poor. Staff was super helpful with any of our requests and very friendly. Didn't like that we paid $400 euro for the room a few months in advance, and one day before checkin, the rate was $200 euro. Not right. But overall, its a great hotel for families and convenience to all of what Barcelona has to offer.

Large family getaway.

Hotel is excellently positioned with good transport links to airport terminal, shopping and restaurants. Staff were extremely helpful and welcoming and the rooms all of a very good standard. I would definitely recommend the hotel to others visiting the city and would be using it again if I return.
