I made my reservation months in advance to enjoy the beautiful views of this hotel while visiting Barcelona for the first time. When we arrived, I was given a room with no windows and completely different from the pictures. The bed was divided and was very uncomfortable for my partner and I. The air conditioning is controlled by the front desk and the temperature is the same for all the rooms located on that floor. When I requested to be changed to a different room they said no and asked me to pay extra if I wanted a different room. Lastly, I was asked to pay a different amount for tourist tax than the website was indicating and the receptionist couldn’t explain why. Most definitely won’t stay there ever again!

the room does not reflect the images online. there is barely one foot of space to move around the bed. Tiny bathroom. No space for your toiletry bag. a plastic cup. no glass for water. I asked for a cup to put hot water in, no response. There is no reception. You have to buz-in for the door to open..Same for the first floor. The reception desk is on the 4th floor manned with one person. VERY UNFRIENDLY. One night around 8pm, when buzzing to open the door a guy out of nowhere jumped my friend to step her iPhone..She cut her hand and was bleeding..Very unsettling. The stay was unpleasant and uncomfortable.

A very nice place to stay in Barcelona. Very good access and walkable to old-barcelona. Very good access to public transport. Clean and very nice staff :) The only reason I will give it a 4 star is one of the beds was making noises. Overall very happy with our stay:)

Our stay at this hotel met all of our needs during our time in Barcelona! The room was very small and basic- just a bed and a desk, but we didn’t need much more than that. Staff was always very helpful and friendly, and the location is fabulous if you’re looking for lots of eating options close by. We were walking distance from pretty much everything we wanted to see in the city. Overall, would recommend with the condition to probably upgrade to a deluxe room if you’re looking for more of a hotel vibe :)

Good for a 1 or 2night stay. Clean & comfortable. Details about the steps at entrance to navigate with luggage to a very small lift should be made clear. Suggest a vending machine in reception with snacks, drinks & tea or coffee making facilities should be provided. All in all, a pleasant stay. Thanks!

Don’t go by the picture in the ad. It’s a very small hotel with very small rooms. Black mold in the shower. Blankets were dirty and had to be replaced. When u walk in there is a window - it’s broken. The hotel is an overpriced hole in the wall. It was close to the Arch however. Wish we hadn’t pre-paid…..would have left.

The room was small but clean. Had nice shutters on the balcony windows so that you can make the room dark and quiet. Room did not have a full length mirror which is something that would be helpful. Hotel its self only has a small sign on the building which was hard to locate. Overall pretty good experience.

Pros - The gentlemen at the counter were really nice. I appreciated they let us store our luggage prior to check in, however they were unable to hold them for a couple of hours after check out. I love that the room we were in had a balcony. While it was really hot outside the air conditioner cooled the room adequately after a relatively short while. The hotel is situated in an area close to the metro and close to really nice areas for walking and it felt safe. Comfortable for four people (2 adults and 2 young kids) but pretty tight with only 2 luggage. Cons - I was very nervous because while it is advertised as a hotel online, the sign outside says “hostal”. That said, there was a private bathroom so it was okay. The room was not cleaned one of the days despite us being out for quite some time and not having the “do not disturb” sign up. The elevator did not work one of the days (we were told via email the night before check in) making it challenging as the hotel is located on the 4th floor with two flights of stairs per floor. Overall - I do think the price is a little high but I’m happy with it overall.
