The hotel is very clean, breakfast was great and hotel security is great. The area around the hotel is not nice. Lots of beggars, homeless and junkies. Warned by tour manager not to go to certain areas and the cab drivers I used warned me about the area.

Everything was very good. Clean, comfortable and quiet but on a Main Street & near La Ramblas. Small refrigerator including water & fruit juices. In room safe, house coat & slippers. Large shower, bed and linens great. My husband and I will definitely stay there again.

This is a nice hotel. It's in a good location, convenient to Las Ramblas, the Gothic Quarter and the port. Breakfast was included, and offered the typical fare. There were some dish handling practices I was surprisedbto see, especially as we head back into COVID/Flu season. The staff was friendly and helpful. With their uniforms of t-shirts and jeans it was sometimes a bit difficult to identify staff. We were in room 441, and I will warn you, if you are a light sleeper, you will hear the elevators operating.

The front counter and bar staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The only complaint is the cleaning staff never replaced our coffee, toilet paper etc. We always had to find someone to ask but it was never an issue getting more supplies, just a little inconvenient. Walls are paper thin and you can hear everyone in the halls. Otherwise, a wonderful hotel and stay.

It is not in the city center. The proximity to Las Ramblas that they claim to be from, is only accessible via cross streets that both staff and locals tell you to avoid because they are unsafe. In order to avoid these cross streets you have to trek around to the beginning of Las Ramblas, only to then walk by a park that is even more dangerous. It's a cement park ( No trees) filled with graffiti skaters drug dealers. Awful ! I placed a review with pictures on Google you can look at. They were arresting two men on the first day we got there. Had to take a taxi in every night for fear of having to walk by there at night. Avoid yourself the headache, Barcelona is filled with beautiful safe and affordable hotels to stay in. We stayed in The Catalonia Magdalenes last time and it was amazing. Perfect location beautiful rooms and even better priced.
